Cost

Is the $1.73-$1.83 billion price tag published in the Tier 1 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) still a reasonable approximation for construction costs?

Is there an identified funding source to construct I-69? 

Is tolling still an option for generating necessary revenue to fund the construction of I-69?

Won’t I-69 affect many threatened and endangered species that live along the corridor?

Is the approval from the federal government really conclusive?  Does it mean that I-69 will actually be built?

Can construction on one section begin before a ROD is issued in one or more of the remaining sections along the corridor?

Socio-Economic Issues

How will property values be impacted along the I-69 corridor?

I own property in the corridor for 3C, and would like to know if my property will be required.  What is the schedule for land acquisition? 

There are mineral deposits on my property.  If it is acquired to build I-69, how will I be compensated for the value of these resources?

What is the I-69 Community Planning Program?  Why is it significant?

Transportation

Will school bus routes, emergency response times and local travel be impaired by road closures? Will that lead to increased crashes and increased costs to local governments and businesses?  Will highway crashes increase in Southwest Indiana?

Existing Interstate highways already connect Canada and Mexico.  Does the National I-69 project simply duplicate other existing Interstate highways?

What is the significance of the “Corridor of the Future” designation given to I-69 in September of 2007?
